Your support matters — Friendship Pet Food Pantry is a volunteer-run program, and every dollar goes toward pet food and low-cost preventive medical care including spay/neuter programs.
Become a Best Friend of FP2! Make a recurring monthly donation, and we’ll feature your favorite pet in our Best Friends Pet Gallery.
We welcome sealed bags of dry dog and cat food as well as canned food (nearing expiration is fine). Other items we distribute include:
- Cat litter
- Dog and cat treats
- Stainless steel bowls
- Collars and leashes
Please make sure leashes, toys, etc., are clean and are in new/nearly new condition.
Food and supplies can be dropped off at the Lincoln Square Friendship Center during pet food distribution hours (third Saturday of the month, 9-11 a.m.) or during Friendship Center food pantry hours (every Thursday, 3-7 p.m.).
A number of area stores have collection bins for food donations — please visit and support these local businesses.
Donation are also accepted at Alderman Ameya Pawar’s 47th Ward Office during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Become a Pet Pantry Partner
We’re looking to connect with pet stores and pet food distributors that will designate near-expiration/left-over food for FP2, and with local businesses that will place a donation bin or coin donation box in their store.
Contact us if you’re interested. We’ll handle pick-ups!
