Mary at Friendship Pet Food Pantry

Mary, a volunteer, greets furry friends at Friendship Pet Food Pantry.

Friendship Pet Food Pantry (FP2) provides pet food to Chicago residents in need. Food distribution takes place the third Saturday of every month at the Lincoln Square Friendship Center, from 9 to 11 a.m.

We also offer, when available, cat litter and dog and cat toys, leashes and other accessories. Stop in and let us know what you need.

Anyone who lives in Chicago is eligible for assistance; there are no income requirements, though clients are required to show proof that their pets are spayed or neutered. Please review our guidelines

While we do not provide medical services or temporary homes for pets, we will do our best to refer visitors to organizations that can help with veterinary needs (including low-cost spay/neuter) or re-housing.

FP2 welcomes donations of dog and cat food, as well as cat litter, treats, toys, beds, bowls, collars and leashes. Monetary donations enable us to purchase the food that is most needed that month.
